Sounkyo ! One of the most famous places to enjoy the the color of autumn foliage.
Starting from mid-September, visitors can enjoy the autumn leaves in the earliest season in Japan. Mt. Kurodake is located in the Daisetsuzan National Park known as “roof mountains of Hokkaido” and as the largest national park in Japan.
Join us to feel the atmosphere of the season changing and enjoy this outdoor activity .

Once we arrive in Sounkyo, the tour will start with hiking in the Walkway of Momijidani. In the beautiful foliage season it is the best place of appreciating the fall leaves.
After we have finished our time outdoors, we will stop for lunch in the Sounkyo hot spring street. There is not only chance to have a meal but also to try the hot spring and let your body to take a break.
Then we will take Mt. Kurodake ropeway. You can see the autumn foliage and valley which is like an ocean of trees – all of this dynamic landscape from the ropeway,
Finally, before we leave Sounkyo, we will see the Waterfall of Ginga and Waterfall of Meteor, two of the top waterfalls in Japan. Let’s enjoy the outdoor activies, spectacular landscape and have a good day together.

11:30 : Arrive at Sounkyo
11:30 ~ 12:30 : Walkway of Momijidani
12:30 ~ 13:10 : Have lunch in Sounkyo onsen street
13:10 ~ 14:15 : Day-use Hot Spring
14:20 : Meet up
14:30 ~ 16:00 : Mt. Kurodake Ropeway (up to the fifth station)
16:10 ~ 16:25 : Waterfall of Ginga & Waterfall of Meteor
16:30 : Leave Sounkyo
19:30 : Arrive at Sapporo .
