Enjoy magical winter Hokkaido at Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival. Every year, Lake Shikotsu creates the most stunning local festival using sprayed water from the lake itself. There is fun for all the family, including ice sculptures, ice buildings and outdoor displays, and evening illuminations. What to Expect

We will leave Sapporo and travel to the magical Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival.

We will arrive in time for the evening illuminations, and be able to see the beauty of the lake water sculptures, plus a variety of ice buildings, and stunning lit-scenery. On the weekend, we can also enjoy fireworks. Each day there are picture opportunities as well!

Wrap up warm as the lakeside is freezing with wind-chill as well – but get ready for an unforgettable experience at one of our favourite local ice festivals.
